Zane's offers the best bar food in town, bar none. Special shout out to my boy Matt P for introducing me to this place. If you like tater tots and a good clean chicken or steak and cheese then this place is a gem and a true find for a meal that's under $10 bucks. It's hard to find a tater tot these days never mind crackling hot ones smothered in cheese. Hands down the best day is Sunday during football with plenty of action and laughs to be had. My last visit I was to hurting to have an incident break out but the atmosphere was great for someone out of town.

Zane's is standard tavern food. Nothing great. The buffalo wings were a bit salty (i've eaten from more than 50 wings joints) and had the typical Tabasco-based sauce. Cheese fries with bacon were decent but a thumbs up on creativity (bacon-lover). The cheese steak sandwich was clean and good.

Great little bar and restaurant in Snowmass Village. Ate here twice, once for dinner once for lunch. I had the mushroom swiss burger and mushroom philly ( yes I'm a mushroom fan) both were delicious and not very expensive. I think our bill for two with beers was around 30 bucks. Fun place to go to after skiing.

It is what it is. A nice Dive bar in "No-ass" Colorado. Great if you fly into Snowmass on the last flight in & need to eat. Good bar food. Tons of lift operator guys and snowboarders. No chicks. Hilarious. You know what they say: you don't lose a girlfriend here, you just lose your turn. Winter, this is a great bar. I can't tell you how many times I have cruised in and asked them to tune into the Charger game. ( A bronco bar that is accommodating to a gambling charger fan?) awesome! Lotsa NFL on here. Crowded in winter, but I can always manage a seat after a few minutes. Low key, pot smokers. Chill!

I thought this place was really cool, the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is because I didn't try food so I just didn't do enough to rate everything. We stopped in here because A. they serve beer at a cheap price B. the sun went behind the mountain and instantly dropped 20 deg and for someone who lives in the desert, we just cant handle that. and C. we had some time to kill before our dinner reservation. It's not a huge place but it's small size does not mean that it lacks in charm. I love the dive-ish bars that have the old wood paneling on the walls and the slightly beaten but well used all wood bar, just like this one has. It happened to be happy hour when we got there and we got a pitcher of beer for a really good price. And we just sat there and people watched and relaxed. There was only one server and he seemed to have his hands a little full but was still really attentive to our glasses. I could see the cook preparing the food right there which I like because I'm interested in stuff like that and I think it helps keep things more sanitary. But after one pitcher we waisted all the time we could and left, if we had another day in Aspen, we would definitely pregame there again.

First of all, if I was able to give Zane's 2.75 stars I would, however that is obviously not an option. Therefore, I went with two stars because of the service. Starting with the service, the waitress was pleasant and I honestly believe she was doing her best. Plain and simple, the management threw her under the bus by making her the only waitress in the restaurant on a busy Friday afternoon. Furthermore, the food came extremely slowly but came out hot, so it was not her fault. The restaurant needs to make better staffing decisions for both the front and back of the restaurant. The food was solid but definitely not spectacular. Being a native of Philly, I was instantly drawn to the large variety of cheesesteaks. I selected the regular which came with sauteed peppers, cheese, and mushrooms. It was decent, but the roll was obviously not Philly-style. However, the appetizer of fried Mac N Cheese triangles were delicious, not healthy, but delicious. We ended up going the next day as well and the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup was pretty decent. Overall, the restaurant was mediocre.

The only reason I didn't give Zanes 5 stars is because of lack of ambiance. Their food, though, is 5 star material. My husband and I had the Cuban, the burger, steak tacos, carnitas tacos and a steak burrito. The Cuban was great and came with tater tots!!! All their Mexican fare is authentic, fabulous and everything was reasonably priced. You should eat here....we will again!!!!

The views are great here, but I came here alone and instead of acting like human beings capable of interpersonal communication, the bar goers thought it far more appropriate to use their squirt gun (yes, squirt gun, that they brought into the bar) instead of their vocal chords. Um, what? The bartender was equally just as unimpressed with my existence. This place blows.

I'm fan of Zanes. Cool service, good drinks and solid food. Hard not to eat or drink to much before getting back at it on the hill.

Love this place!!! Me and my husband moved here 2 years ago and this was the first "eating out" we did! Erin is GREAT! Always has recognized us from day one ;) Best philly's around. Great bloody marys! Gets very crowded on game days so claim your spot early!

This place sucked, there was only one guy working the whole place, it took 20 minutes just to get a drink and he never came back and asked us if we wanted anything else the only good think out of it he never charged us for are drinks.

I'm from Philly and the Philly cheese steak here is/was excellent. They also have tator tots! Lots of TVs. Seating is the only problem. small tables with stools. Waitresses do a good job.

Cozy little place with surprisingly good food! We had the grilled chicken florentine sandwich and chicken florentine Philly. It's a sports bar and can be a little loud at night.

Best cheese steak I've ever had! The tots were good too. Good dive bar atmosphere, which is a nice departure from the Aspen scene. Pool table, foosball, and shuffle board. Reasonably priced for Aspen.

Fun hangout, food was okay. I got the Philly Cheesesteak with tater tots and I thought it was good, not great. My boyfriend got the Carne Asada since he was craving Mexican food, but for the price it was awful. It was $16 for a pretty small plate of food. Not to mention the steak was sooo chewy it wouldn't disintegrate in my mouth and had to swallow the piece I cut off of his steak whole. Choking hazard. They have pool and fooseball and also an electronic PGA gold game. Pool was only 50 cents a game, so that was nice. Our total (with tip) for 2 beers, a cheesesteak, and the carne asada was about $50, so I found it to be a bit pricey for a dive-ish type bar.

Cheapest place at snowmass if you want a beer after skiing. 50 cent wings which are pretty good. Definitely a locals bar, but they always welcome a new face. Good to watch a the game. Have a pool table, but can get crowded if you don't get there early.

This is about the only restaurant / bar still opened past 9:00 PM in Snowmass. They have shuffleboard, pool and foosball all for $1. HELPFUL TIP: Get a Budweiser pitcher for $10 which is the best deal in the bar. This place was opened until 2 am giving us an opportunity to have a few drinks and games for less than $20 making it a good value.

This is a bar on the second level of Snowmass Mall. It's full of folks enjoying apres into the later hours of apres - ie 8pm or so. So, you will see lots of skis and boards inside the bar in the evening and folks still in their gear. I came in because I was starving and wanted a quick slice of pizza from somewhere, which apparently doesn't exist in Snowmass. I was guided to Zane's Tavern because I wanted to take the order with me and not spend more than $10 on a sandwich or something easy. They basically delivered. I got the chicken fingers with tots. Both were actually good. Although, the chicken fingers were kind of small and there were only a few. I can't complain though because it filled me up, but it was a bit more than $10.

This place is definitely a locals spot and not the good kind. Expect to get treated poorly if you're an out of towner. I went in with 6 friends and received dirty looks as soon as we walked through the door. We went towards the back to play some shuffleboard and pool and one of my friends disappeared. He was embarrassed and told us the next day that he had been kicked out because the bartender thought his ID was fake. My friend's passport had been stolen recently and he has his expired NY drivers licence and Canadian citizenship card for ID. We're all in our late 20's with NY licences so I'm not sure what the issue was. After my friend was kicked out the bartender rudely came over and asked for our IDs, he also IDed us again when we grabbed drinks at the bar. It wasn't until the next day that we realized that he was being so rude because he had already kicked out one of our friends. Beers are decently priced at ~$4. The pool and foosball table are decent, the shuffleboard table needs to be taken care of better. The pinball machine has the sound off which makes it quite boring. I personally had a much better time at Venga Venga and The Viceroy.

So glad this place stays open late. Otherwise we would have been SOL! Came in at 11pm on a Monday night and it was pretty crowded but we got a table. Ordered the nachos which were yummy! I also had the mushroom Philly cheese steak with tots and that was good as well. He had the Cajun chicken wings and said they were just ok. It's very loud in here and they played mainly loud music I had no interest in. But again, this is the only place open in Snowmass so we will be back if need be.

Cool local bar. Bartender is very rude to out of towners. If you are not a local you are waiting at the bar drink after drink. Get a new bar tender! Almost would be a cool bar.

Go-to spot for lunch, apres, a big game on tv, or just a night in SMV. Their new chesapeake bay tots are awesome - with old bay seasoning. You can't beat their wings, gyro, mac & cheese wedges & philly spring rolls.

Been a patron since I was 17. Best happy hour around, some of the best wings in the world, great vibe, and true local spirit.
